{"id":5400,"date":"2022-03-09T23:55:19","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T22:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tibicon.net\/en\/?p=5400"},"modified":"2022-03-09T23:56:04","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T22:56:04","slug":"12-golden-rules-hard-worker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tibicon.net\/en\/2022\/03\/12-golden-rules-hard-worker\/","title":{"rendered":"Mario and the 12 golden rules of the hard worker!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tell me, Mario, do you know how to make the most of your work?<\/p>\n<p>Do you know how to ensure that your boss, colleagues and staff members have a realistic idea of the amount of work you do every day?<\/p>\n<p>If you are not completely confident, it may be useful for you to follow a few simple rules.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Always get to work before your boss and go home after him<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>He will appreciate it, I am sure, especially if he is not paying you overtime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Never walk around the office with a newspaper in your hand<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>They would think you are about to hold a long &#8230; toilet meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Always keep in your hand a folder. <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>So that everyone will think you are going to meetings of some importance. If you walk around empty-handed, they might think you&#8217;re just going to the coffee machine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Never walk slowly<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>Steps and fast movements enhance the perception of a busy person: a person who fidgets is not always doing something productive, but it is crucial to communicate &#8216;action&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you absolutely must think, and you can\u2019t avoid it, do it away from prying eyes<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>People who think have nothing else to do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not attend training courses.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You are not paid to waste time on unproductive activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you really cannot give up on training, then do your best to arrive in the classroom at least 15 minutes late and leave it 20 minutes before the end.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Why? You have pressing tasks to attend to and, unfortunately, you cannot avoid them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>You will do the same in the meetings.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You will so make clear to everyone the non-human workload you have to bear every day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Never mute your smartphone, especially if you are in a meeting.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>As soon as it rings it will be clear to everyone that without you the organization cannot survive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leave the desk messy.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Because only those who have nothing to do keep everything in perfect order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complain quietly, but openly, about your workload.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Do it regularly, especially at the coffee machine. Your depressed expression will help to give you credibility and justify the well-deserved break.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule your e-mails for half an hour after everyone has left the office.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Receiving an e-mail at 8.30 p.m. always has a certain effect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>What did you say?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what your lazy colleague does?<\/p>\n<p>I know, but you have to adapt: <span style=\"text-align: center;\">if you don&#8217;t accept that you have to put some energy into making the most of your work,<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0an &#8216;inattentive&#8217; boss may end up not distinguishing<br \/>\nbetween you and the slacker of the moment.<\/h4>\n<p>And you don&#8217;t want that, do you?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tell me, Mario, do you know how to make the most of your work?
