Listening, conscious

Conscious listening is a behaviour typical of a person who listens with full awareness of what is happening here and now, paying attention to and fully concentrating on the speaker’s needs, drivers and objectives. It helps overcome poor listening behaviours. Conscious listening may be: critical listening; appreciative listening; empathic listening; informational listening. This is opposed to poor listening.
