Objective, SMART (management)

An objective is well-defined when it is distinguished by characteristics that make it SMART, i.e.: Specific, leaving no room for ambiguity; Measurable, allowing for monitoring of work in progress; Achievable, since an impossible objective is as demotivating as an easy one; Relevant for the organization, i.e. consistent with the mission; Time framed.
