Question, open-ended

A phrase or sentence in which a person asks one or more other people for a piece or set of information, which calls for a descriptive, articulate reply. The answer to an open-ended question requires careful thought and awareness, and provides a considerable amount of new information. Mainly begins with the word “what…” or “which…”.
