HR Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Balanced Scorecard

Introduction

The coaching programme aimed to train and assist people from the HR, Quality, Finance and Controlling in defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) required by the Balanced Scorecard.

Aims

To provide participants with information and models supporting the integration at both local and head office level, with KPIs suitable to integrate an outlook focused on quantities referable to the financial statements and balance sheet: the focus is on KPIs related to Human Resources.


Management and results

  • HR activities/processes analysis:
    • reporting to head office;
    • currently used KPIs and related SWOT analysis;
    • KPI standard definition set by the head office;
    • model for identification/representation of HR performance management processes;
    • local and “corporate” definition of the company strategic framework;
  • General concepts of company strategy, mission and vision; issues on the implementation side;
  • Classification of Human Resources according to the company strategy;
  • New human Resources KPIs and implementation into the Balanced Scorecard.
